Full training is provided: your experience as a family historian or researcher will help us make more genealogical records available to everyone, for free.

• Are an Open Data organisation, and thus your transcriptions reach the widest possible audience, in the most innovative ways,
• Are among the oldest, most respected, crowd-sourced transcription organisations/projects in the world,
• Have such a range of materials - from medieval Latin to modern print, from the free-form of early Church Registers to the consistent format of the BMD indexes - this means that whatever your skill level, and however much your skill increases, we have documents to transcribe that fit your level, or can stretch you,
